Larry Chapel State Farm is seeking a highly motivated, sales-dominant Acquisitions Specialist who thrives on prospecting, follow-up, and closing business. Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

This position is contingent upon becoming fully licensed.

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred
 • If not currently licensed, you must obtain required licenses (paid training and full support provided)
 • Licensing is required prior to independently producing in the role

Role Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be driving new business and increasing written premium. You will prospect, build relationships, and confidently guide customers through coverage decisions.

Success in this role is measured by activity, pipeline management, and closing results.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, and community outreach

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers

Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies

Follow up consistently to convert leads into closed business

Track activity and production to meet or exceed sales goals

Collaborate with team members to support agency growth

Maintain compliance with agency and licensing requirements

What We’re Looking For

Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to win and exceed goals

Confident communicator who enjoys asking for the business

Strong relationship-building and persuasion skills

Highly organized with disciplined follow-up habits

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Prior sales, marketing, or customer-facing experience preferred

Insurance or State Farm experience a plus but not required

Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred
